Low Wood Events boasts what must be one of the best locations for team building and corporate events anywhere in the UK. Set in the heart of the Lake District, on the shores of England’s largest lake, Windermere, we are perfectly placed to provide outstanding opportunities for land and water-based adventures.
Great outdoors
Our site occupies 3/4 mile of private lakeshore, next to the Low Wood watersports centre. As well as all the sailing, canoeing, and fun and games from the front-door jetty, we also have access to 25 acres of Low Wood Hotel grounds and a 72-acre private estate in the Lake District, ideal for country pursuits.
Fantastic indoors
The Low Wood Hotel’s superb accommodation, business, conference, and leisure facilities opposite provide you with a wonderful additional asset for your delegates and indoor team building activities, corporate events and evening entertainments.
In addition, we have excellent links with many other Lake District hotels and hostels, enabling us to source accommodation that matches all requirements and budgets of every size.
Easy to get to
Our proximity to the M6, good West Coast rail links and midway position in the UK make travelling quick and convenient for delegates from all across the country. There’s also plenty of free private car parking.
